Pamela D Lloyd
I was born in Chicago, Illinois, where my parents turned down an offer to sell me to a sock salesman. When I was two months old, my family moved to Lake City, Florida, where my parents once more turned down an offer for me, this time in exchange for a house. They have admitted that in selfishly refusing this offer they were aware that they would not be able to provide me with the life of luxury the prospective buyers claimed would be me new lot in life. My brothers were both born in Lake City; to the best of my knowledge, our parents received no offers for them and by the time we moved to El Paso, Texas, when I was three years old, my true nature as a force of chaos was apparent, so no new offers were forthcoming.
My writing and art inspirations vary with the moment, but from the time I was a child have included folklore and fairy tales, with a special interest in changelings.
More detail about my life and writing is available on my website.
I also work as a tutor at a local community college. Subjects I tutor include reading, writing, ESL, pre-algebra, and study skills.
